So those of you who are into video games and modifications for said items, will perhaps know that Germany is VERY big into the "modding" scene. That said, I have been working on a game modification for nearly 3 years now for the PC game "Star Wars: Empire at War" (you may know this from many of the deviations I've posted...). The point of this post though is to share the news that I have been contacted by a German magazine editor who want to feature my mod in the modding articles section of their magazine where readers will be able read about the mod (in German, of course), see my work, and play the mod. It will be provided - with several other mods - on a DVD that ships with the magazine. The magazine is called "PC Action" so if you know German than check them out in about a month!

...a movie comes along that just knocks the competition dead. I just finished watching Avatar for the second time (for free ). Movies don't get much better than this, girls and boys. Can I also just say that James Horner is one of the single best composers of all time. God, I love that man's music to death! If James Cameron keeps getting that guy to write to scores for his equally brilliant movies than he can always count me as a fan. Anyway, count the last journal entry as an impulsive venting session; I am thoroughly inspired now I might even get back into piano again because of Horner, just so I can play his songs! I learned "My heart will go on" a LONG time ago but now that the Avatar music will be making it's way to sheetmusic, I'm tempted to dust off the keys again.

Alas, the glory of a three week brake draws to a close...faster than I would like... In a week I will be on to the first of my last two quarters at school and yet (I'm sure) a few months of agonizing stress and work. At least I got a shit-ton of video games for Christmas to utilize as stress relievers. *sigh* Why can't I just graduate now and move on to a good job and a life?

I just checked my grades today and it turns out that I got straight A's for this last quarter!!! Seeing as how I phailed at school from junior high on, this is a pretty big deal for me A couple more points of the cumulative GPA and I can make the Dean's list!
